A review of The Derby Hearing Centre by Angela Gilmour written on Wednesday 30th of November 2016
I have worn hearing aids for several years now but was not getting the quality of
sound or able to join in all conversations without feeling embarrassed: knowing that I was either trying to lip read or pretend to hear clearly, Asking people to repeat all the time what they had said. What scared me most was knowing that there is a link between hearing loss and dementia.
I visited Derby Hearing Centre in July and spoke with Lee Newton about my problems and concerns. He instantly understood my situation - I purchased a pair of
Oticon Opn1 hearing aids and life has changed.
Now I hear conversations even in noisy rooms; TV is turned down; I hear the car indicators, footsteps, sirens, and those quietly spoken people, mobile phone is great,
The list goes on and so does life interacting with others. Money well spent..
