"Not the place for key cutting"

I needed a door key copying, so I parked in the Intu car park. Then I went to Timpson's on the main concourse,

but they were temporarily shut. So I looked in the Eagle Market and found Pete's Bar. I wish I hadn't bothered.

Despite me having the original key their copy doesn't work. £4 wasted, plus the £3 minimum fee for the Intu car park.

I asked them to recheck the key at the time because it looked wrong. They did so grudgingly and said the key was fine, but it is useless. They didn't issue a receipt for my cash payment, so there's little point in going back to complain (an extra £3 car park fee).

I've since double checked the key with a micrometer. Their cutting was quite inaccurate..
