"What has happened to the pork pies we knew?"

We have been eating Birds pork pies now since the 1940's and they have always been the same. Just recently we had a bit of a party and I bought 4 of the large pies and 18 of the small ones. What a dissapointment. For the very first time I found a piece of gristle in one of the big pies and as for the flavour, it has just about completely gone. At one time Birds were way ahead of all the other pies but now they are less than average. Sorry Birds but I have bought my last one, never thought I would say that. I was the one that wrote the glowing report in 2009 who lives in Milton Keynes and I never expected to write this one..
