"Customer Service"

I reguarly use 3 Birds shops in the Nottingham area and seem to find the same problem at each shop. The shops I frequent are Bulwell, The Poultry and Victoria Centre, both in the City centre.

The assistants seem to be too concerned with chatting to their colleagues, to pay attention to the customers. Invariably, I have to repeat my order and I have witnessed other customers having to do so too.

Today, at the Poultry, I asked for corned beef and the assistant was weighing haslet. I had to ask her to change the greaseproof paper when she then served corned beef. I also asked for a blackcurrant tart, and apple tart and a jam doughnut and it was only when I got home, I realised I had been given a jam tart instead of a blackcurrant tart. Whilst I was being served there was an ongoing converstaion with her colleague.I feel this was not a case of mishearing, but a case of not listening.

I do like your products and it only because of the quality of them that I find myself returning to your shops. Incidentally, I have occasionally used your shop at Alfreton and been very satisfied with the service there

I feel that your company would benefit from training your assistants in the basics of customer service.
