"Damons - rip off, Old Orleans - way forward"

I recently went to Damons in Derby with my wife and i thought it was over priced and tacky. The portions were not that big and everything came out served on plastic plates?!

We were ignored for the

entire meal and left hungrier than when we went in!

Anyway, i have since been to Old Orleans (in august) and i am struggling to see where the original poster got her details from. The meal was lovely and the service was warm and friendly.

The place has also been refurbed recently and looks great. Much lighter than it used to be..
